Nice bar in the city! My friends and I have been here a few times at night when it turns into just a bar and I've only ever had good experiences! Service is always great, drinks are strong, bathrooms are always decently clean and I love the different vibe on all 3 levels. Top floor is pool tables/bar, second floor bar, tables, bottom floor is a tiki bar!

Hubby and I stopped in BB for Sunday afternoon lunch date. We enjoyed their vast beer collection with a good amount of CA beers on it. Our first table was syrup sticky and we were moved to another table quickly w no issue. Hubby and I shared the mozzarella sticks which came w warm marinara and they were delightful. I would get these again. After the mozz stix things got weird but Ilyana, our server, made an amazing recovery. Hubby ordered a turkey Ruben but was sent out a turkey club which had Avo on it which he can't eat. My Cobb came out perfect aside from missing the bacon. She brought the kitchen errors to managements attention and made a smooth recovery. She even comped us for a beer for the kitchen mistakes. Thanks Ilyana! Five stars for you.

First time at Barney's and came for the LA dodgers game (the last 2 they had) and WOW LOVEEEED BARNEYSSS- the vibe was definitely fun! Also.. can't help but love it as dodgers won the world seriesss here (for me hahaha) Food: -carne asada fries: steak fries! I'm not the biggest steak fries fan and so should have read that right. The salsa was also very big tomatoes so wasn't my fave fave. But the second night, got the nachos and that was a popular popular one! Next time will get that -Nashville hot chicken: a solid hot chicken sandwich Drinks: -beer options! But they do run out- though to be fair we were there for dodger games ANND for the world series win so... it's probably more on us then them? heh Service: -friendly, considerate, prompt, available! They were awesome Overall: a fun sports bar! DEFINITELY hypes up when your team is playing and that's pretty awesome! The spaces are nice too and give room for big/small parties.

There are places, scattered like stars, where the soul feels at ease, and the heart dances unburdened by the weight of the world. Barney's Beanery in Pasadena is such a place--a raucous haven where wings are crisp, beer flows cold, and joy settles like a well-worn coat on your shoulders. I went with my friends, my amigos, my compadres--a merry band of seekers in search of good eats and even better times. And, oh, did we find them. The wings, dear reader, are the stuff of legend. Lemon pepper with their tangy zest and buffalo with their fiery vigor, paired with ranch and blue cheese so divine it could make a grown man weep. One might think they'd mastered the art of the dip; no, they have transcended it. But it wasn't just the wings that sang a siren song to my soul. No, the real magic lay in the karaoke--a celebration of human vulnerability and triumph rolled into one off-key melody after another. The host, a man of charm and wit, welcomed all with open arms and a sly joke, though his allegiance to the Philadelphia Eagles left much to be desired. "Fly Eagles Fly"? Perhaps. But I wondered, as I clutched my mic and prepared to butcher a classic, if his choice of team was the only blemish on an otherwise perfect evening. And then, like a gift from the gods themselves, he appeared. A charming older gentleman took the mic, and from the first note, women flocked like the salmon of Capistrano. His personality was so magnetic that I found myself unable to carry my credit cards--forced to rely on Apple Pay for the rest of the night. Was it the voice? The charisma? The inexplicable pull of the karaoke stage? Whatever it was, it left a lasting impression. The layout of this bar is a marvel. The main floor buzzes with camaraderie, the basement hums with its own secrets, and the upstairs whispers promises of a good view and a better vibe. It's a labyrinth of merriment, with security who ensure that the only troubles you face are whether to order another beer or another basket of wings. Barney's Beanery is the kind of place where you feel safe, even in your most vulnerable moments--like belting out Whitney Houston with your compadres cheering you on, or biting into a wing so hot it tests your very resolve. It's a perfect spot to watch a ball game, grab a beer, and toast to a night well-lived. Would I go back? Without hesitation. Do I recommend you go? Absolutely. Just prepare yourself for wings, laughs, and maybe even a crack at karaoke. Life is short, my friends, and Barney's Beanery makes it just a little sweeter--and spicier. Five stars. No notes. Except maybe, host--go Rams? I digress.

I've waited about 34 years to go to Barney's beanery. I walked in and the ambiance was nice. The bar was full so I had a seat. The waiter is getting tipped for noticing the customer that wasn't getting serviced. (I was a waiter, FYI. ) I had ordered a burger and fries and a drink off the top of my head just to be fast cuz I needed to leave in 15 minutes. I asked for no onions and no jalapenos. I guess it's my fault for not just asking for a patty cheese and a bun. It's nobodys business that I had food poisoning today and that my stomach really can't take digesting a jalapeno. So this is for the chef that was working at 9:45pm. I worked all day. Don't make my dinner wrong. If I say that I don't want something on my food assume that I'm allergic to it and don't put it on my food. Ok? That means if you put jalapenos in the guacamole and someone asks for no jalapenos then tell the waiter there's jalapenos in the guacamole. And that's why you shouldn't do that. Guacamole is just mashed up avocado and nothing else. I ate your food and now my stomach hurts. Is that what you want? You want people to eat your food and then have pain in their stomach later? Stopped eating right after I found these in my food. Too bad for me I was eating at rocket speed and trusting you to make my food the way I asked for it.

The bartenders were all very nice! We went on a Friday night so it was very busy. The atmosphere is fun, there's tchotchkes all over the walls, lots of tables to sit at, and pool tables on the second level. The drinks were typical for pricing and the service was quick. They had a DJ that was awesome! He was my favorite part of the bar. The crowd got a little rowdy a few times and a couple people were kicked out but security was on top of it. I'd be curious to see the vibe during the day or on a week night

I like the attention they give you despite being packed! 5 stars . Pasadena parking so find a spot and don't forget to tip your people and every two hours go out and pay that parking! Kudos to the staff!

This spot is always a go to. Ambience is cute with a tiki bar downstairs and pool tables upstairs. The fried pickles here are my favorite they always taste so fresh.

this place is such a vibe! great place to bring your friends to eat, drink, hangout, or even play pool. we came on a thursday evening to continue my friend's birthday festivities and it wasn't busy at all. there were quite a few people hanging around the pool tables or just dining in. they had lots of options for food, but we just came back from a dinner so we grabbed fried pickles as an appetizer while we had a chat and drinks. we let the waiter know it was our friend's birthday and as a gift from the restaurant, she was given ice cream w/ whipped cream on top! only complaint was that we were kind of forgotten by our waiter towards the end of the night and had to tag her down outside of our table since the establishment is pretty big. give this place a try!

My first time here at Barneys Beanery. I was with a group of co-workers for a social hour. I didn't know what to expect prior to my arrival. It's a restaurant with a full bar. They have a good menu of food items plus happy hour appetizers. Pastrami sliders, mini hamburgers, teriyaki and buffalo chicken wings, potato skins, mozzarella sticks, and jalapeños poppers were ordered. I only ate the teriyaki chicken wings and potato skins... they were both delicious! Everyone got their own drinks. I tried their mojito virgin which is a minty drink... I like mint, but it didn't WOW me as I thought it would... it wasn't the same mojito drink that I had at another restaurant... don't assume the same name will have the same taste. Towards the end of the evening, I went bold and got myself a bad apple cider (two co-workers got it so I thought I would give it a try)... it was so amazingly refreshing for an alcohol drink! I normally don't drink alcohol, but this was very good... I would name it bad a** cider... yes, fill in the asterisks LOL. Staff was super friendly and nice. Ambiance is very interesting. It has a dark intriguing flare and theme to it... I can't really explain it. Drink prices were decent. Great place for after work social hour events and/or meetup with friends and family. I would for sure come back here just for the appetizers and my bad a** cider LOL. Btw, they do have limited free parking, but it's a small lot. It may be best to just find street parking... there is plenty of that around Old Town Pasadena.
